Considering what seem to be one of the endless challenges - terrorism and other life tough problems we face due to the high level of Identity crisis in the human race. I being to wonder who are you, what are you doing in life, how did you get where you are now in your chosen career or profession, did anyone tell you are what you are doing now, or better still you think you would have been better off in any other profession.
You studied Law, Medicine, Computer science just to mention but a few high profile course in our educational core curriculum, Let's see how this comes out, you graduated with 'B. Sc in Environmental Protection and Resource Management' and now you are one of the top makeup artist in Nigeria, here it's another mind blowing sample; obtained a law degree, called to bar only to settle full-time for studio art. what it's the relationship between what you are doing and what you study, you mean nobody told you, that you would be a better makeup artist and Photographer as the case may be mine guess is yes or no.
Trying to answer this immense question - Who are you, so many answers flood my thought, let me start describing Identity Crisis - this is anxiety about social role: a period during which somebody feels great anxiety and uncertainty about his or her identity and role in life and society, typically experienced in adolescence or middle age. Every Adolescence was once a child, with this in view let address our parents; who did they tell you, you are?. thus "every child it's a genius until an adult told him otherwise" I know a lot of people don't have the Courage to fellow their passion because their parents, pear group and some other environmental influence would not encourage them - "The biggest atrocity of all is to indoctrinate our children into a system that does not value their creative expression, nor encourage their unique abilities." - Benjamin Greene
If we must make a change let our parents and the Educational System must stand up to their responsibility of good parenting and education of the Child as the scripture says; Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Pro. 22:6 Amp.) A child's life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark.
- Chinese Proverb
Lets Teach and Train the Child rightly so "Obi can become a fulfilled Man"
